When drinking Sencha in a teapot, you can only taste about 30% of the ingredients that dissolve in the hot water.
However, since matcha is made from whole tea leaves, it is possible to absorb all the nutrients into the body. Approximately 30% of tea's ingredients dissolve in hot water, making matcha the “king” with more than three times the nutritional content of other teas.

Product development ability

Product development ability that inherit tradition and create the next

For many years, there has been a problem with matcha fading when heat is applied to it during food processing.
As a result of 10 years of research, Aiya Co., Ltd. has completed Gleaminal® OM, a matcha tea that has anti-fading and color-producing properties.

Matcha's appeal lies not only in its taste and aroma, but also in its bright green color. However, during food processing, there was a problem that the vividness of the colors was inevitably lost. It has been a long-standing dream of the industry to develop matcha that does not fade even when added to food.
In 2009, Aiya Co., Ltd. completed 10 years of research and completed Matcha Gliminal® OM to prevent fading. It is a fine powder made of matcha coated with edible oil. Matcha is coated with oil and fat through a special manufacturing process. You can use it in the same way as traditional matcha.

Anti-fading & Color development effect

Anti-fading & Color development effect

Coloring effect
It has a deeper, darker green color than regular matcha.
Anti-fading
Maintains a dark green tone. It is particularly effective against light and is recommended for products sold under fluorescent lighting.
Moisture absorption suppression effect
Because matcha is covered with oil, it does not absorb moisture easily, so it can also be used as a topping for sweets.
Shatter-proof
This prevents the scattering of matcha, which was a problem when adding large amounts of matcha at food manufacturing plants, and improves work efficiency.
Edible fats and oils(MCT)
Edible oils and fats are tasteless and odorless, so the original flavor of matcha is preserved. It is a body-friendly fat that is absorbed and metabolized quickly, and is difficult to accumulate as body fat.
